Motor Claims Adviser - First Response - Southport

Job Profile
Reporting directly to the First Response Manager, the role will involve taking incoming calls from claimants, recording the claims information into a database, offering advice and guidance and offering specific assistance in line with clients needs eg replacement vehicle provision. Duties will include liaising with third party drivers, insurance companies etc, tracing of claims relevant information, contacting witnesses to discuss their opinions of the accident and completion of statements. Additionally the role will involve updating brokers’ claims information, reporting of new claims to brokers and insurers alike and providing updates and facilitating the set up and servicing of new claims and maintaining the department’s protocols.


Applicant Requirements
Candidates must possess road traffic accidents (RTA)/hire and repair experience and knowledge of the motor insurance industry would be an advantage. Ideally candidate will have a range of skills including computer literacy, the ability to work within a team and excellent communication skills. Hours are 08.00am - 8.00pm - Monday to Friday (shift basis) + Saturday cover.
