Job Profile
Experienced Household Claims handler required to join an existing team and handle domestic losses up to a value of £7,500. The role will also involve dealing with referrals from less experienced claims handlers ensuring they are given correct advice on how to deal with the claims process or queries that are referred.
Applicant Requirements
Applicants are expected to have a good level of experience in handling household claims, from notification through to settlement and be aware of FSA regulations and procedures relating to the handling of claims. There should also be an awareness of potential fraudulent losses identifying these at early stages and being able to refer them to a specialist team. Good communication skills are expected along with the ability to assist and direct less experienced handlers.
