Senior Property Claims Analyst - London

London Market insurer seeks to strengthen its global property claims team through the appointment of a senior property claims analyst who will be responsible for managing a team whilst concurrently personally handling the larger and more complex losses. Portfolio comprises a mix of UK high net worth and commercial and US domestic losses with a heavy involvement in global CAT work. There will be a requirement to work alongside the underwriters on policy wordings, to work closely with loss adjusters and TPAs and to sit on London Market Committees for major CATs. You will also be required to undertake 3-4 mediations annually and to report to the Main Board.

Candidates will need to display significant property claims knowledge gained either with an insurer or adjuster. Management experience is also seen to be of benefit as there will be a need to develop and motivate the existing team. Experience of working on CATs is preferable. ACII and/or A/FCILA qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential. Basic salary up to £80,000 plus benefits.

Specialist Underwriter at Lloyds with particular interest in special lines such as PI, D and O, product recall, terrorism, property, liability, personal accident and treaty. Has a fully operational claims department in addition to Underwriting. Other interests include a life business.
