Commercial Underwriter - Maidstone

Commercial Underwriter sought to win and retain profitable business from Brokers, improve underwriting and trading skills and deliver high quality service to Brokers. Responsibilities include underwriting of existing business risks, processing of renewals and negotiation with Brokers to achieve required rating increases and ensure quality business is retained in accordance with regional plan. The Commercial Underwriter will support achievement of underwriting profit by using knowledge to focus on risk selection and ensure adherence to governance and control procedures.

Experience will be required within a Commercial Underwriting environment and candidates must be able to demonstrate their technical knowledge in addition to their communication and relationship building skills. Candidates must have good negotiation and sales skills and the ability to deliver excellent customer services
