Solicitor - Medical Negligence - Birmingham

A new vacancy has arisen for a Medical Negligence Solicitor to join an expanding team at this large Midlands practice within any of its offices. You will be expected to provide patient-related health law advice to NHS Trusts including representation at inquests and providing general healthcare advice. In addition, there will be the opportunity to undertake clinical negligence work for a variety of clients. You will manage a caseload of negligence matters including clinical negligence claims/actions, often at a multi million pound level, together with related health sector advice including inquest work, advice on healthcare law including the Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act and applications to the Court of Protection.

You must be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years+ solid PQE although candidates with a greater PQE will be also be considered. Applicants applying for this role will need to have a sound technical knowledge, strong clinical negligence background and impressive academics.
